Preventive Maintenance of k-out-of-n System with Dependent Failures

The paper investigates a model of k-out-of-n system, the residual lifetime which changes after failures any its components. problem Preventive Maintenance (PM) organization as advice to Decision Maker (DM) for such system is considered. purpose this propose mathematical support DM about PM. For most practical applications, it usually possible estimate distribution parameters components with limited accuracy (only one or two moments), why special attention paid sensitivity analysis reliability characteristics and decisions PM shape distributions. In numerical examples, we consider 3-out-of-6 discussed in our previous works real systems. novelty, significance, features study consist following, failure components, load on all others increases, leads decrease their lifetime. We situation order statistics quality strategies respect availability maximization criterion. At same time, are focusing decision-making type
